I'm drinking on my own.... again

Well, my life is quite confusing at this point in time.

I have worked some things out though:

I like being superfluous with my vocabulary, even if my spelling is abysmal.

I drink too much.

I am useless at writing words, but i hope that i will do a better job of writing music, with the words provided.

There's a first time for everything

Well, much to my dismay, it would seem i have writers block.

I have been trying to write a song, decent lyrics, or even a riff, but i seem to be incapable of doing any of it. How very very frustrating.

I need inspiration. I know where i could get it from, but i'm not sure if the required participator would be interested in participating...

Something to explain everything

Today has been a chaotic whirlwind of emotions, most notably of all, anger, as I'm sure, you, my thousands of readers have read the last two posts, i feel i should explain.

Up here in Leeds, there is this mystical place, known as the cockpit. Now, if i didn't know much more about it i would still feel compelled to love it, but, as it happens, there is an event, every Friday, known as sessions. For this event, lovers of what i can only really describe as good music conglomerate at the temple entrance, waiting for permission to pass inside. The best night in Leeds. God this is almost a fairy tail...

The mighty knight Rix felt compelled to find the new king and queen of the mighty kingdom of sessions, so called out for all the peasants in the land to come to the castle in their finest, and be judged. The winner was decided - a lowly alchemist - but it was felt due to his wizard like appearance and clothes that he was, in fact unsuitable for the role, despite being the favorite. Instead, the title was presented to lesser beings, much to the alchemists distress.

A few hours (and a substantial amount of food) later, the lowly alchemist realised that he was, in fact, the lucky one, able to come and go in the castle any time he wished for the next moon cycle, and still be able to be chosen for the task of king next time the knight decided a change was needed.

Ok that's a poor fairy tail.
On to other news, if there is any.

I want to enter the occupation of modelling. As i have done for quite some time, but alas there are a few major reasons why i am yet to make it:
  1. I am pathologically lazy - Unless it can be easily achieved through the Internet, or its a basic need, it probably wont happen.
  2. Modelling agencies are confusing - you don't know which ones are going to be good ones, or which ones are out to screw you over. I once saw a watchdog episode about modelling agencies that get money off you then don't get you any work - confidence boosting...
  3. I have no experience. Plus I'm naturally a shy person, despite being quite outgoing (yes, i know, I'm an enigma ;D)
  4. You can't tell which agencies online are big ones, and which ones are small, they all have fancy websites
Along with other reasons which are yet to evoke themselves.

Moving swiftly along, it would seem a small miracle has occurred in the form of me being able to walk once more - albeit very slowly.

I think that might be all, or at least, all the thoughts i had in my head at the beginning of this have been banished whilst typing this leviathan of unnecessary thought

Anger level demoted

ok, after eating alot, i feel better, its not like i havent been credited with the win.

Oh, and i officially suck at impulse buying; tried to do it, but managed to contain myself and realise that i didnt actually need any of it - isnt that the point on impulse buying?!

Anger level upgraded

Level upgraded from very calm to the most pissed off i have been in a long long long time.

Why you ask? I was winning a competition to become the new 'face' of friday night at cockpit, and, i must add, getting quite excited about it, but today, i got a message saying, that although i was the winner, they werent going to use my photo due to the fact that i was wearing a white jacket. When i replied saying that there was another one taken on a later date with me wearing a black waistcoat, i got the reply saying that they had already used two other photos.

SO, instead of fame and fortune, i get a month of guestlists (which would be 4, 5 in a good month). Not quite up to scratch.

Fuck you matty rix.

*Insert witty blog name here*

Well, Interesting day this has been! After a last minute decision to visit the cockpit last night for fun and frolics under the train arches i obviously though it a good idea to jump down a rather large flight of steps. Surprise surprise i managed to injure myself. Luckily enough i was so drunk i don't remember any of it! Woke up, this morning, moved my leg and was in hurrendous amounts of pain. Genuinly thought i had broken something, but i had sprained my ankle. Dam bad one at that, with a lump bigger than Germany. Apparently sprains can be as painful as breaking bones, and take as long to heal, so if anything... I can't remember where i was going with that.

So yeh, i'm going to be a little slower for a while

D-day

Well, physics 1 today, 3 hour exam with 45 minutes extra time... woo

I feel like im the only one on here not using this to describe all the intimate details of a loved one.

Ok so theres this girl, we met three years ago on a small island in the middle of the pacific, took a rowing boat back to america, then discovered we both had super powers and flew the rest of the way home

oh wait

no there isn't

SO, back to reality, J bird and knify come up friday, cant pretend im not looking forward to seeing them, cos i am. Will be weird though, seeing them in leeds, always is. Its like two completely sepparate worlds colliding and is usually quite an emotional experiance.

Why am i using my last few hours of revision time to blog?!

One of the mysterys of life. The human race would be a lot more prosperous if work were an enjoyable activity. Well, i guess i just need to find something i enjoy doing. Not that i don't enjoy doing physics, in fact, weirdly enough, i do, its just revision.

So yeh, i should get on with it

Blog-o-rific!

Well, a lot can change in a day, i have gone from being quite relaxed about my first exam, to being absolutely boned. The reason for this, is that contrary to what i belived for the last two weeks, i infact have a 3 hour what the fuck is this? physics exam tomorrow, not a 2 hour a-level further maths piss easy stroll-a-thon as i thought. The exam itself takes place at 2pm tomorrow, i realised my mistake at 4.30 today. I still plan on going out tonight...

Is there a problem with that?

No, i thought not. so i've spent the last 3 hours typing up equations for 2/3 of the physics i have learnt so far (as the electro mag work is too messed up (aka my notes are in the wrong order, and... wait, i didn't even write notes...)). This is all i plan on doing. So sue me.

Luckily what i need to know (or 2/3 of what i need to know) isn't particularly difficult.... but the chances are, i am subconsciously ignoring the horrendous equations....

So here i am, listening to Le Justice, eating rich tea biscuits, drinking fosters, and trying not to think about physics...

My cow broke today, i would like to blame the printer, but i know its actually my fault for neglecting it (genuinly true).

Also, i have rediscovered the joys of mmorpgs, in the form of the free (for the next 2 months, until it shuts down for good) tabula rasa. Great time to start playing eh? in the middle of exams?

University life isn't so bad now, i have settled in, and am now looking forward to my first night out! I have retrieved my pathetic excuse for an amplifier from the dark corners of my wardrobe, and given my guitar life once more, although i am still to actually unpack my bag.......

one day, one day.

Some how i doubt anyone actually does or will read this.

blah blah blah etc

Whatever feels the need to flicker into my head

First blog eh? I will try to make it witty (or just random) in places, but it will probably end up as more of a rant.

So how is the life of this late-teen prodigy I hear you ask? Well I'm back in Leeds about to jump head first into my first set of exams. What a joyous occasion... These past few years have been... well, interesting, to say the least. High points include Reading festival, the legendary Amped, and err many other events, most of which have been banished to the corners of my memory (unwillingly I must add), only to be called back with copious amounts of prompting. What am I getting at? I have a bad memory. That is all.

My guitar playing ability has increased to unusual heights to include the rare art of 'soloing' which I have become rather apt at. And so I should after 8 years of playing. My current band (whom are yet to be named) are a reasonable bunch, talented, motivated, reasonably arrogant (the average arrogance bought up from normal by a traditionally big headed front man) and although the music played is not the music I desire, it will suffice. For now.

Over the next few weeks I hope to update this with news of various occurrences. This is not a guarantee, this is a maybe.
